Classification Unit
The Classification Unit works to classify inmates to determine their housing and eligibility for corrections programs. Deputies review each inmate’s charges, medical history, gang affiliation and other qualifying information to determine specific housing assignments and enrollment in programs including GED and Bible study. Inmates also are evaluated based on behavior and awarded jobs, classified as “trustee positions,” within the facility that may earn them sentence reductions.Central Booking
