Grade: P06 – Non-Exempt
Starting Salary: $60,986 Annually

$5K signing bonus (First $2.5K to be processed on date of hire)

Description

This position is for currently CERTIFIED, or recently CERTIFIED (within the past 2 years), law enforcement officers who meet the following criteria:

• Maryland (MPCTC) Law Enforcement Certifications, and
• Less than 12 months of continuous full-service law enforcement experience following completion of a law enforcement academy.

Deputy Sheriff Probationer personnel are responsible for patrolling assigned areas, enforcing laws and ordinances, protecting life and property, responding to calls for service, performing investigations, and supporting community safety.

This position requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
