Sex Offender Registry

The Sex Offender Registry Unit holds the responsibility of registering and monitoring all convicted sex offenders who reside, work or attend school in Carroll County.

Anyone convicted of a qualifying sex crime is required to register in person at the unit. Registration includes paperwork, fingerprinting and a DNA swab, and the offender’s personal information is stored in a statewide database system that is accessible worldwide.
