Employee Awards

Members of the Detention Center Command Staff award performance on a monthly basis to staff. Any employee or person working in the Detention Center can nominate an employee for this award. Each month the nominations are reviewed by the Employee of the Month Selection Committee, which consists of the Detention Center Command Staff.

Once the selection is made there is a formal written announcement signed and presented by the Warden to the employee selected. The employee selected also receives a departmental watch to show appreciation for their outstanding service. The Employee of the Month then becomes eligible for Employee of the Year, which is presented at a yearly meeting early in the following year where they are presented a plaque.
